Hannah and Adrien, now known as Mr. and Mrs. Howell are an adorable couple who decided to commit their lives to one another March 23rd, at the stunning Idaho Club! Surrounded by lush mountains and bright blue skies, this couple had an indoor ceremony surrounded by close family and friends.

First Time for Everything...

In addition to being my first wedding of the season, Hannah and Adrien's event was also my first time shooting with David Stutes of HOL Photo and Video. He worked as my second shooter, and I can say that I look forward to shooting with him again! David and I had a great time doing what we love and learning to work well with one another. With a "fake out" reveal in between bridal photos and groom photos, we shared laughs with the groom as he turned to see his best-man in a wedding dress. When we joined the bride and her maids near the mountain walkway, we enjoyed seeing how creative each bridesmaid could get with her one-on-one picture with the bride. With poses ranging from Charlie's Angels, to showing off rings and bad gangster stances, I ended the shoot feeling like I got to peak in and see how these friendships had grown. The ceremony came, and I stood and smiled as I worked. The bride came down the aisle, and as the groom turned to see her face, he smiled. The awaited moment had finally come. Halfway through, the officiant asked the bride and groom's fathers to come to the altar and say a prayer over the couple and their marriage. The prayers were beautiful and from the heart. Happy tears, and proud smiles were shared as the fathers spoke their amen and sat down. Yummy food, sparkling cider, and comfortable conversation filled the hall as people settled in to the reception. Music played in the background, and the toasts began. Best man and Maid of Honor laughed, cried, and remembered as they spoke to the couple and cheered on their future. Towards the end of the night, David and I enjoyed a moment to sit down and sip some hot coffee. Sometimes, it's the little breaks that can refuel you the most. The wedding ended with a quick goodbye from the couple as they drove off into the sunset and thus began their happily ever after!
